John Payne is a vocalist, musician, songwriter, Vegas show creator and record producer. He was the lead vocalist, songwriter and engineer/producer of 9 albums for the multi-platinum selling rock band ASIA for 14 years and continues with ASIA FJP to this day.
John has worked with the likes of Roger Daltrey of The Who, Lou Gramm of Foreigner, Robin Zander of Cheap Trick, Mickey Thomas of Starship, Steve Howe of Yes, Colin Blunstone of the Zombies, Fee Waybil of The Tubes and more. He has toured and co-headlined shows with Peter Frampton, Paul Simon, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, The Bee Gees, Toto, Paul Rogers, Kansas, and Styx to name a few. John also co-created a Las Vegas rock show that won Best of Vegas Musical two years running.
His passion for engineering, mixing and producing started in the UK in the 80’s where he owned several major studios before relocating to the US in 2003.
John is an avid Canon photographer with a wild palette from iconic landscapes, wildlife to Miss Universe.
